Back at Harold Washington Library Center, Rebecca Goldstein analyzed the famous philosophical conundrum called “The Mind-Body Problem.”

During the Q&A, Goldstein quoted William James (From Pragmatism: “The history of philosophy is to a great extent that of a certain clash of human temperaments.”), then concluded that, for her, the solution to The Mind-Body Problem rests on “our attitude towards mystery.”

You’ll find lots of mystery in Goldstein’s latest novel 36 Arguments for the Existence of God (a work of fiction).
