What’s Z”L?

The most common honorific for the dead in Judaism is “zikhrono livrakha” (abbreviated as Z”L) meaning “of blessed memory.”

The Hebrew transliterations are “zikhrono livrakha” (m) & “zikhronah livrakha” (f).
